Background
Schobeiri joined the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering in 1987 and established two gas turbine research areas at Texas A&M University. After coming to Texas A&M University. Schobeiri worked for the Brown Boveri Gas Turbine Division in Switzerland, where he was responsible for the research and development of high efficiency gas turbine engines.

Textbook, “Turbomachinery Performance and Flow Physics,” which will be published soon. This book is contracted to be published by Springer Verlag, New York, Berlin, Heidelberg. I use this book in my graduate course Aero-Thermodynamics of Turbomachines MEEN-646.
